What's Happening?

 Painting at Holy Cross

Why: To give our school a fresh new look and to give rooms fresh, vibrant colors.

What room is next: If Mrs. Miller moves, they will paint that room next.

What colors are being painted: Teachers could choose between Port Angeles Blue, Scenic Desert Tan, and Tropical Green.

 Library Renovation

Since the schools are combining next year the library is being renovated to fit all the books. Recently the library service club had a used book sale to get rid of some of the older books. The carpets were cleaned, the room was painted, and some bookshelves from St. Al's were moved over to Holy Cross.

 Mr. B's Ties

Since Mr. Bizeau is retiring at the end of year, he decided to donate some of his famous ties.  The ties will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for the school store. Students can place silent bids before school from 7:40-7:55 am, May 14th-22nd in room 15. The money is going to new equipment for the science lab. So far the highest bid is $30 dollars for the m&m tie. There are almost 40 people bidding so go and bid today!

On April 2nd, Bishop Ricken celebrated mass with KCSS. Students, staff, and guests were very honored to have him preside over the mass. Below are some words students and staff used to describe the visit.

During October's Red Ribbon Week, each grade level participated in a door decorating contest.

On Friday, September 13th, KCSS students and staff wore camouflage clothing in support of the Williamson family and in memory of Blake Williamson, who was an avid hunter.

September 20th was "Be a Hawk Day" to support Xavier's Homecoming.
